This game was made for the HEJ 2024 June jam. The themes we tried to incorporate were "navigate" and "blind".

Objective

Collect as many artifacts as you can. They can be found at the location of the huge energy beams. Each artifact gives you 10 health and a few seconds of invincibility.

When your area is clear (no more enemies left), you can dash through hedges to move between areas.

Glory kills: dash into weakened enemies (flashing yellow) to finish them and gain 5 health.

Blind kills: if you dash through a hedge and also manage to hit an enemy on the other side, you kill them instantly and gain 10 health.

Dash to avoid (or confront) enemies and projectiles - you take reduced damage (by 75%) while dashing!

That's about it. Have fun, try to avoid bugs :)

Once again Lasermagnet Games with another banger of a game. Congrats Fodi & Tibor, you somehow manage to always make something special.

Looking forward to your next game and, if you decide to put some more work into this one, I'm pretty sure that I can find a good few hours to dump into it. <3

Thank you Bernardo! We’ll probably update the game for a week or two, the amount of todo comments in the project file is… substantial :D

Also thanks for playing the game on stream & giving feedback, we appreciate it a lot!

This is really good fun, a gaming vibe that I really like. 👏

Thank you! :) we absolutely love this sort of thing too!

And now we can say the countless hours we spent playing Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Strife and similar games were not just for fun, but also research :D

I love it! It gives the Doom vibe! :)

Thanks! :) That was what we were aiming for.
